Who plays minecraft here?

I have one alpha, and one beta account. ^_^

(and I had one beta gift code, but I gave it away.)

Does this mean there aren't enough Minecraft players in the batch to warrant our own server?

I have a suggestion to whoever's gonna host it: Bukkit server mods

What server mods would be good?
Will it be a survival or creative server?
Dedicated?
TBH I don't play SMP much, as my ping is too high on most servers. (3~4 digits)

I usually use an economy mod and an exp/skills mod in all of my servers, and then I add NPC mods if the people who regularly go on that server are few (Citizens plugin is the one I usually use.) I've never had to use Anti-Griefing anything though, since I've never encountered large-scale griefing before, so idk about that.
Also, SMP please, creative multiplayer is really, really boring lol
Dedicated or not depends on the host, though.

I know I can't host, mine is only like 1.5 or 2 MBPS :< Lawl.

Oh yeah, adventure maps too Is that a really good idea though, assuming there's gonna be more then 3-5 playing at a time?
Then again, it'd be pretty hilarious if there were like 14 of us on a tiny little island, a la Yogscast's "Survival Island" series =))
